  I followed Dr. Choi and his team from Punta Gorda to the N Ft Myers office because I felt so strongly about the quality of dental care delivered by this group. The practice is respectful and demonstrates integrity in its interactions with me. They provide clear information about the options for my dental concerns, are upfront about costs, and help me weigh out the best course of action for treatment. Plus, they're just plain nice.

  This is my second visit to coast dental, once in 2013 and again in 11/2017. I went in despite the last time I had been to this office because they had a new doctor. Both times they refused to clean, polish or fill my teeth because I wouldn't get a 2000$ cleaning that was not covered by my insurance. I needed my front teeth (that I paid them 400$ to fill after nearly walking out the last time) polished and a possible filling. These things are covered on my insurance, they told me that is wasn't, then said I had to have this cleaning. They came to me (a patient on Medicaid) and told me to pay them 700$ for one? Because of bone? Of my two extractions (they didn't clarify) and when I said I didn't have 700$ they walked me to the front counter without discussing what that money was for or giving me a referral to the surgeon that was on my insurance. Again they refused to do anything else without me paying for this cleaning. They did however charge Medicaid for the "exam" and xrays. This company is committing fraud. Do not take Medicaid business here, they are ripping you off.
